Director's Welcome

A little bit about myself, I was born and raised in League City.  A long time ago I attended this same Creative Corners preschool and never thought I would one day be the director at the same school I started out in!! After preschool I attended Clear Creek ISD until High School where I transferred to Bay Area Christian School and eventually graduated from. I received my Associates Degree from the College of the Mainland, attended the University of Houston Clear Lake, in 2012 received my Childcare Administrator Certificate.

I married my high school sweetheart, Aaron,  We have been married for 14 years and have 3 beautiful children together, Alexandria 13, Avery 11, and Austin 9. All my children have also attended Creative Corners and love it! I've been a member of League City United Methodist Church since 1994.

Previously, I worked for the City of Friendswood and found that working full time and a mom of 3 was very difficult to juggle! When the opportunity came to work for Creative Corners, I quickly took the offer to work in the 2 year old class. I soon found out how precious it is to work with 2 year olds and how life calmed down from working a full time job. I love coming to work every day to be with the children! They make my day and make me smile, not to mention laugh at the silly things they can say.

After 2 years of working in the 2's class, the opportunity came up in 2012 for the Director's position of Creative Corners. I saw this as a opportunity for me to help the program to expand and use my knowledge I have obtained to take the program to the next level. I am proud to be the Director and love seeing the kids smiling faces everyday!
